Previously Puerto Plata and Santiago participated in the jazz festival. After some years of absence Puerto Plata starts to participate again this year.
The next day Friday November 1, the festival then continues in Sosúa in the Parque Mirador. Sosúa is, as will be known, focusing more on organizing cultural events like the gourmet festival, musical (jazz, blues, classical), art exhibitions and sporting events. Saturday and Sunday, the festival then continues on the beach of Cabarete. Besides the performances of famous musicians there are also several workshops for children and adults and demonstrations where interested people can participate.
