Friday November 1, Ad's bar / restaurant ‘Rancho Tipico' was officially opened.
Rancho Tipíco is situated a dozen yards past the now closed La Passion in the main street Pedro Clisante.
Despite the heavy rain the bar was well attended around 10 PM with loyal customers of Ad and of course many other curious guests.
The music was varied (rock, R & B, merengue, bachata and salsa) and with a nice bachata some tourists even went for a dance.

Later in the evening they fired up the BBQ and surprised the guests with a nice chicken leg or a shaslick with bread and a salad.
The famous nail block was used regularly despite the rain.
So the old tradition of the famous 'Black Box' has been reinstated.
Champions with the hammer could give their best shot at the wooden block again.
99 Peso
Ad also told us at the opening that the special breakfast doesn't cost 130 pesos but will cost only 99 pesos.
Obviously as bait to attract more visitors and residents of Sosúa and make them familiar with Rancho Tipíco.
The opening night went on until early in the morning.
People kept coming by, curious of course, of what Ad had to offer.
Nice to see was that among the guests also showed up a lot of other

business owners of restaurants and bars in Sosúa, among them the owners of el Rancho, Don Andres and Voramar.
Rancho Tipíco has a lot to offer, good music with video, affordable prices, excellent BBQ, performances by artists, sporting events on large screen, karaoke on Sunday nights, free Wi-Fi, special offers and the super cheap breakfast.
Bar / restaurant Rancho Tipíco is truly an asset to Sosúa.
