Bar Plan B is an oasis in Sosúa
Halfway through the main street Pedro Clisante, a fifty yards from Plaza Sosúa, you will find the cozy bar and restaurant petite 'Plan B'. Bar Plan B is particularly popular among the residents although also many tourists know where to find the rustic bar. The bar is so popular mainly because you can quietly enjoy your espresso, cappuccino or beer and many different cocktails. You do not get hassled by vendors and other annoying people that want something from you. The staff behind the bar is friendly, attentive and discreet. The music is varied and certainly not too loud. On request you can look at sports on the large screen or play a game of pool.

Martha, the manager of the bar, has everything under control. She sees to it that the staff gives every customer the attention and service he or she deserves. In addition, she greets each customer personally. Plan B is also known for its excellent coffee. The espresso, cappuccino and latte are famous. The bar opens at 9 AM and offers a full breakfast at yet a very affordable price. In the afternoon clients enjoy the dishes (Picadera) with croquettes or Dutch croquettes. But you can also order a more extensive dinner. There are several dishes on the menu including Mexican (tacos and tortillas) and German schnitzels.

Martha also has a series of foreign beers on the menu including some German.
There is also an extended wine list.
Several times a year, Martha and her team organize special activities at the bar.
There was a festive Valentine evening, a Halloween with great BBQ and a Christmas celebration.
They also celebrate birthdays of the guests and staff.
