In the past weekend writer Minelys Sánchez presented her latest literary work entitled 'Marilyn murió en Berlín' (Marilyn died in Berlin) to the public.
The presentation took place at the Culture House (Casa de Arte) of Sosúa in the presence of Mayor Ilana Neumann, the members of the Thursday writers collective (Jueves Grupo Literario) of Sosúa and other interested people.
The book is a collection of stories about Dominican women who try to survive in Europe.
The writer was introduced by Omar Mesón chairman of the writers' collective, in the presence of a large audience.

Ramón Gil and Oscar Zazo, also members of the writers' collective commented on Minelys Sánchez work, and according to them, it is beautifully and movingly written.
By the way, Minelys previously published several novels and collections of poems in German, French and Spanish.
Ramón Gil wrote the foreword to her new work and reported that Minelys has become a member of the Thursday writers collective of Sosúa.
In her word of thanks, she said she was pleased that the mayor and fellow writers had given her the chance to present her work, her latest book, to the audience in this beautiful cultural center.
