All hotel rooms in Sosúa and Cabarete are booked during Semana Santa. The cities of Santo Domingo, Santiago and La Vega are deserted. Everyone goes to the pearl whit beaches during these holidays. But last Friday, Good Friday, it didn't appear so on the beach of Sosúa, it was still fairly quiet. There were very few buses parked next to the highway. The weather was beautiful, so that was not an obstacle and all beach bar owners were ready to welcome the guests.
