On August 1, the national holiday was celebrated throughout Switzerland, but also in the Parada TÍpica El Choco, restaurant in Sosúa.
This because the owners, Marco and Jacqueline Pompeo, are after all Swiss.
The troubadour Pain'e performed this time in the company of a beautiful lady singing.
Together they sang the most beautiful duets.
Their music was appreciated greatly by the audience.
It was rather funny to see that many guests showed up in Swiss costumes.
The mood got even better when Marco started blowing the very long midsummer horn.
The highlight of the evening came during the raffle.
The guests could actually win very nice prizes.

The guests could also enjoy the special Swiss (peasant) food and traditional Swiss drinks.
Also in Sosúa they know how to celebrate the Swiss National Day.
