César said that Sosúa (and vicinity) can count on not one but two hospitals in the near future.
It is not just a public hospital, but also a children's hospital.
There is great need in this region because the average age of the population is very young.
The families have many children and mothers often have several children at an early age.
He said that negotiations are in an advanced stage with international institutions for the financing of the two hospitals.
César also said that he and President Danilo Medina discussed the matter and that the President recognizes the need for both hospitals and supports this initiative.
