The municipal service is currently working hard on the passageway between the neighborhoods Los Charamicos and El Batey in Sosúa.
The plan is to construct sidewalks on both sides of the road and several rest areas for the pedestrians.
It is quite a walk to get from Charamicos to El Batey by foot.
If the attached image is a true representation of future reality, then pedestrians should rejoice over a secure shaded pedestrian passage, interrupted by resting areas with ornate benches.
The lighting looks modern too.
The seaside town of Sosúa will thus be more attractive for its residents and visitors.
