In a meeting for the press, the organizing committee led by Mayor Ilana Neumann announced the program for the Multicultural Festival (formerly Gastronomic festival).
The festival takes place on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday, September 28th at the Parque des Flores.
This park is located next to the Sosúa Bay Casino at the beginning of the main street Pedro Clisante.
It is now for the fourth year that this festival takes place.
Festival Multicultural
The event has become, in the course of these four years, a broad multicultural event.
In addition to the many restaurants offering their specialties in stands, numerous cultural events will take place.
There are on-stage performances of ballet, dance, folklore groups and music bands.
The ballet performances are given by the Emely Watson School of Dance and the Ministry of Tourism.
'Pedrito Reynoso and his band' perform folk music.
The sing and dance groups from Casa de Arte Sosúa will also be present on the stage.
Furthermore, there are booths where students of various creative courses will showcase their products.
There is also a horse trainer demonstration.
The event closes on Sunday evening with the internationally renowned and famous salsa band Yiyo Sarante.
