Students of the school 'Colegio Luis Hess' recently visited the exhibition 'Cosmos' by artist Leo Díaz in Casa de Arte in Sosúa.
The Colegio Luis Hess was founded by the Jewish community of Sosúa in the 40s of the last century.
Louis Hess, who gave language lessons and math, was well into old age the principal of the school.
In honor of this pioneer and founder of the primary and secondary school, the school was named after him.
The pupils of the highest classes of Colegio Luis Hess were received by the visual artist Leo Díaz, director of the art center Adolfo Faringthon and hostess Perla Espaillat.
There they were given an explanation by the artist Leo Díaz on the exhibited works.
Students showed a lot of interest and asked a lot of questions.
For example, they had many questions about the meaning of the works and the techniques that were used.
