As of last Friday October 10th the plan is, to have almost every week a performance by a band or a dance group in restaurant Don Andres. Last Friday it was a merengue and bachata group that played in the garden behind the pool. The four-man group has only been together for a short time, but they played really more than beautiful. While enjoying a very good BBQ and a nice drink, the more than 100 guests could enjoy this uplifting music. Not only the Dominicans present, but also the other guests, the 'gringos', showed that they masterd the merengue and even the bachata dance. Next Friday October 17th, it is 'Dominican night' at Don Andres with typical Dominican dishes. Of course, you can also choose from the current menu. The dancers of 'Emily Watson School of Dance' will give dance demonstrations and dancing lessons to anyone interested to learn to dance.
Be there on time because it will be crowded.
