Saturday December 6 at the 'Hacienda del Caballo', a horse farm in El Choco, they held a horses Christmas Parade.
Everyone having riding lessons at the farm, decorated their horse to participate at the parade.
The students age between 4 and 60 years but the majority are youngsters.
The parade of decorated horses started at exactly 11 AM before a jury.

Then it went on to 'Haciendas El Choco' where a German family received the pack with various soft drinks.
The parade, led by Brigitte Theurer, then went back home to Hacienda del Caballo.
For the hungry there were hotdogs available at the farm.
Now it was time to award the prices for the most talented and diligent student and most beautifully decorated horse.
Obviously, the two young winners were applauded loudly.

To close the event there was a raffle with a large amount of prizes that were made available by entrepreneurs.
The proceeds from the raffle will benefit the care of neglected horses.
In her word of thanks Angela Cruz, the owner of the horse farm, told the audience that they have been able to take care 20 neglected horses.
The horses were left sick and emaciated by their owner.

Angela and Brigitte took care of these poor animals and most of them are now (reasonably) healthy.
But Angela and Brigitte do not have sufficient resources hence they have created a foundation to raise funds.
The foundation is called 'Singing Horse Foundation'.
Angela is in fact also a gifted opera diva and uses her fees for her appearances for the care of the neglected animals.
