Agents of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (AMET) fined between 25 November and 7 December, 3,433 drivers accused of driving at night in vehicles without front and / or rear lights, that threatened their lives and those of others.
A report says that throughout the country 1,554 cars and 1,879 motorcycles were stopped on highways, roads and streets with lighting problems.
Amet explained each driver the danger of driving at night without proper lighting for themselves as well as for other road users.
