Friday afternoon, January 9, officers of the special unit 'Crímenes y Delitos de Alta Tecnología (Dicat) arrested four Bulgarians in Sosúa.
Scammers
They were caught red-handed at the ATM in Sosúa installing a scam device.
Research in their hotel rooms in a hotel in the beach resort, the agents found a series of forged credit cards, scam devices and weapons.
Weapons like pepper spray and machetes.
There were also two cars (Honda CRV and Ford Escape) seized.
The four Bulgarians appeared to have been active for six months on the north coast scamming cards at ATM's.
