First German Market of the year was "gemütlich!"
Saturday afternoon, January 10 the editors of Sosúa-News paid a visit to the German Market in Santo Domingo. It was the first market meeting of the new year. The German market is held every month in Centro Dominico-Aleman in Calle Isabel La Catolica 212 in an old historical building in the colonial part of the capital.

There was indeed a 'market' where they offer all kinds of products like German bread (excellent quality) German beer etc. yet the most important thing appears to be to meet each other at the bar. The bar seems to be the meeting place for German residents for an informal talk. A visit is really worth it and the German beers tasted very good.
