Tuesday March 17, there was live music at the popular Rancho Tipico bar in the main street Pedro Clisante.
The merengue and bachata band with vocal leader Chicho Severino performed this time.
By 11 pm the establishment was full with expectant guests.
They had to pay two hundred peso entrance fee and now hoped for a nice performance.
And they became a nice performance when the band was finally ready to play after a quarter past twelve.
They treated the audience very well with catchy merengue songs and later some very well-known bachata melodies.
Of course the band played the famous songs of Chicho like 'Lo Que Quedo de Chicho' and his most famous song 'Millonario ... Y Que?'.

Many started to dance on Chicho's contagious music.
After a long break, the band played then until three o'clock in the morning.
For many guests, this was too late and they left before Chicho gave a second performance.
This is therefore the only discordant note.
Henceforth, the live band should perform earlier in the evening and forget about an hour's long break.
But at the end, it was a successful evening and many hope for another live band in Rancho Tipico.
