Marino Castellanos in Rancho Típico
Last Saturday the legendary bachatero Marino Castellanos performed in Rancho Típico. The establishment filled with fans early in the evening for this famous bachata interpreter. Among the visitors many Dominicans coming from Montellano, Puerto Plata and even Santiago and La Vega. Marino came in a little bit late, but at about 11 PM there were signs that he had arrived.

His band got to the stage immediately to start as soon as possible. Around 11:15 Marino showed up on the stage under loud sheers of the audience. On the dance floor, many enthusiastic couples for a dance and in front of the stage many ladies with a camera or smartphone to catch Marino in a picture for Facebook or offspring. Marino Castellanos gave the best of himself and sang very beautiful and famous bachatas from his repertoire.
Eso da pa to
Of course he sang his big hit 'Eso da pa to' at the request of the public several times. After a short break Marino continued his performance with other bachata and merengue hits. He felt good about the enthusiastic audience and therefor he played an extra hour. Marino was very approachable and friendly and was very patient and pleased to have his picture taken with his fans.

Ad, the owner of Rancho Típico, promised that he will contract a known bachatero or merenguero soon again for a performance in his bar / restaurant.
We are lucky to have Rancho Típico in Sosúa, so we still have an entertainment center where you can enjoy the authentic Dominican atmosphere and Dominican music.
