On Tuesday morning, 11 June Mayor Ilana Neumann launched the reconstruction work of the sidewalks and curbs in Charamicos with a stroke with a pickaxe in a pile of earth. A large number of residents and councilors attended the solemn and festive event. The reconstruction of the sidewalks in this neighborhood is urgently needed because the pedestrian is plagued by rising tiles, electricity cables hanging loosely and here and there is a manhole without a manhole cover. Especially in the evenings and at night it is dangerous. In the speech made by the Mayor on this occasion, she said that the neighborhood complained for years and years to her about the deplorable situation of the sidewalks.
