Last Saturday evening there was a evangelistic meeting on a covered stage in the main street Pedro Clisante.
The international evangelist Fernando Almonte held an edifying speech founded on the Bible.
A dozen women repented
After his biblical message a dozen ladies climbed on the stage to convert to Christianity on the spot.
They said that from now on they will refrain from sinful practices as nocturnal bar visiting.
From now on they turn their lives into the service of Jesus.
These statements were received with applause and cheers of the entire audience.
This evangelization meeting was made possible by General Ronmel López of the National Police, Mayor Ilana Neumann and Director of Tourism, Lorenzo Sancasani and organized by the leaders of the different religious communities in Sosúa.
