Monday evening August 24 at the 'Hard Rock Cafe, Blue Mall' in Santo Domingo a spokesman of the Ministry of Tourism and the Foundation la Fundación de Jazz (Fedujazz) presented the program for the 19th edition of the Dominican Republic Jazz Festival to the attending press.
The jazz festival is scheduled from 4 to 8 in November in Santiago, Sosúa, Puerto Plata and Cabarete.
For this festival leading jazz musicians from the United States, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Israel, Italy, France and the Dominican Republic have been invited.
Among them are Grammy Awards winners.
For Sosúa, on Thursday 5th November, the famous Israeli jazz pianist Roy Assaf has been contracted.
