Friday October 2 Viktor Belén starts with a course on how to make an animated cartoon. The course is taught in the upper room of Casa de Arte, and is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture. At the course, anyone can participate who has some talent for drawing.
Victor Belén is a visual artist and has his studio around the corner from the Checkpoint bar in Sosúa. He is an excellent painter and sculptor. But he also spends a lot of time drawing cartoons. He has also made some animated movies and cartoons. Currently Viktor is busy on an animated cartoon about the Taino Indians. This was commissioned by the Ministry of Tourism. But despite that Viktor is busy with these assignments, he apparently still has the time to teach how to make an animated cartoon.
