Martha and Hans, until recently the owners of restaurant El Conde, decided to sell the bar and restaurant, although many of the regular customers didn't agree with them, but there is in fact no reason to complain.
Martha expects a baby and it seemed better for the mother and baby to await in peace.
But the faithful visitors of restaurant El Conde have no reason to mourn.
A proficient catering man from Ireland, the 37-year-old Nick Ledlie takes over the bar and restaurant.
Nick lives with his Dominican girlfriend from Puerto Plata and has about 20 years experience in the bar and restaurant business.

He worked as a manager in hotels and restaurants in Ireland, Bermuda and Turks and Caicos Islands.
His intention is to keep the entire atmosphere in restaurant El Conde intact.
The staff won't change, and the menu remains largely unchanged.
So the weekly special offers remain at their very decent prices.
The bar and restaurant is open from 4 PM until 11 PM every day, except on Tuesday, El Conde will be closed as before.
Martha and Hans, and of course we do too, wish Nick a successful stay at El Conde.
