Bennalice Katz recently presented her beautiful poems 'El Mar y un Verso' in the upper room of Casa de Arte to a select audience.
Bennalice Katz, daughter of the distinguished family Katz in Sosúa, has worked on the poems since 2012 coached by Lic. Omar Messon.
Omar is a lecturer and author of several literary works and also chairman of the Thursday night writers' collective in Sosúa.
The poems are about life, desires, impermanence, re-birth and the sea with its waves, wind and infinity.
It wasn't easy, but finally the book of poems was ready to publish, thanks to the support of Omar Messon.
The presentation of the booklet was accompanied by watercolors, which Bennalice, with the help and support of Adolfo Faringthon, has created herself.
El Mar y Un Verso
Adolfo is a celebrated artist and director of Casa de Arte.
The watercolors form a symbiosis with the poems.
Bennalice Katz thanked the attendees for their presence and for the patience to finally welcome her piece of art.
