The beautiful pavement sections in front of the different bars like the Cubana Bar have been removed. Because of the bad weather for the last few days, the work has been delayed a bit. Nevertheless, all business owners hope the renovations will be completed before the elections on 15 May. After the elections, there is usually a break from the municipal government because the new council has to be compiled and incorporated. Fortunately, it is now low season so there is not too much revenue loss for the bars and restaurants in the street.
