Recently, humpback whales have been spotted a few times in the bay of Sosúa.
Now there are, and this for the second time this year, a pod of dolphins observed in the bay of Sosúa.
Dolphins in the bay of Sosúa
The first time was early April and the dolphins swam in the bow wave of the Tip Top Catamaran of Richard Schut.

The second time took place last Sunday in the bay of Sosúa.
A group of tourists with an inflatable boat that had gone beyond the bay, was suddenly surrounded by a pod of dolphins.
Whether it were young dolphins or a smaller dolphin species is not known.
That is something we should leave to the experts.
But it is special that both the humpback whale, as the dolphin likes to visit the bay of Sosúa.
