Food for Hungry is a foundation on Christian base with many US and Canadian members and donors. The foundation helps poor communities with potable water, employment, education and spiritual development. ARD (La Asociación Dominicana de Rehabilitación) also has a Sosúa division. This is the 'Centro de Rehabilitación filial Sosúa' which donates traffic victims whose limbs have been amputated, prosthesis. The Sosúa branch will also receive some wheelchairs from this gift to give them to disabled residents of Sosúa to make them more mobile.
