The bar C'est la Vie is no more.
For a week now it is demolished to the ground.
The bar was located in the center of town, opposite the Baileys restaurant one hundred feet away from Banco Popular.
The bar was particularly popular among the residents of Sosúa, especially among the Germans.
The hosts of the cozy bar, Peter and Anna Maria, were often present and had a personal relationship with the many loyal visitors.
It was a true friends meeting place for many visitors.
The story goes that the new owner of the bar wanted a higher yield.
Until three years ago, the owner was a Jewish family who rented the bar at a reasonable rent to Peter and Anna Maria.
Cést la Vie bar afgebroken
We hope that the friendly couple soon is able to restart another Cest la Vie at another location in Sosúa.
