Sunday, June 26, Gran Copa Aneja, a grand basketball tournament, takes place in the sports hall of Charamicos (district of Sosúa).
The tournament starts already at 9 o'clock in the morning and several teams from the major sports cities will participate.
Teams from Puerto Plata, Santiago, Moca and La Vega have already subscribed to participate at the tournament.
Sosúa will be represented by a strong team which has won the prestigious tournament several times in the past.
Spectators are welcome and entrance is free.
