The 'Movimiento Social FE' under the inspiring leadership of Óscar Peralta, continued its actions for nature conservation last weekend.
The last Sunday of June, they already held a river clean-up day.
At Bella Vista dozens of volunteers gathered a huge amount of garbage from the river Sosúa.

Saturday July 9th environmental awareness continued by members of the new residents' association.
At Bella Vista fifteen trash bins were placed.
It were not only the bins, they also handed out plastic garbage bags, gloves, bags and rakes.
The intention is that the inhabitants of this Sosúa neighborhood will no longer deposit their garbage in the river, but in the waste bins.
Once a week the bins will be picked up and taken to the landfill.
Óscar Peralta has made his truck available for the job.
The chairman also owns a TV station.
In the programs he broadcasts he wants to inform the public about the responsible use of the environment.
