From Friday 7 to Sunday, October 9th it is 'October Fest' again in bar / restaurant Parada Tipica El Choco.
But prior to the Oktoberfest a 13-man HGQ brass band from Switzerland will do a tour along the beach and visit some restaurants and bars of Sosúa and Cabarete.
On Tuesday, October 4th they will start with a visit to the Davidoff Cigar Factory in Santiago.
The following day, so October 5, the band goes along the beach of Cabarete with a visit to restaurant LAX-OJO.
Thursday, 6 October, the brass band visits Orchidee restaurant and restaurant Casa Valeria.
Friday, October 7th the party continues in restaurant Parada Tipica El Choco.
The motto of the festival this year is 'Party Stimmung & Gaudi Guarantee', just like last year.
During this traditional beer and food festival also several typical German and Swiss cuisine will be offered.
There's also 'Paulaner Fest' draft beer.
This year again, several companies promised their participation including Productos Bavaria, Panaderia Dick, Calla Piza, Bar Tipa Cool, OJO Club, HVB Plaza, Casa Valeria and Aly Tupac.
They are represented with a booth where guests of the Oktoberfest can play a game and thereby can win cool prizes.

Jacqueline and Marco, the owners of Parada Típica El Choco, will also organize some original Oktoberfest contests for the visitors.
Of course there will be typical Oktoberfest music played by the HGQ brass band and a DJ.
