Juan Bautista Cabrera is the lead singer of the band. This talented musician has already won a music festival in Luperon at the age of 12. He was thereby discovered as a musical phenomenon and several bands offered him a contract. He played in bands that performed in the resorts of the Dominican Republic. Then he played in several bands on cruise ships visiting the Caribbean islands. He also performed in New York hotels. For several years now, Juan Bautista Cabrera has his own band consisting of eight musicians. The band is called 'El Lince de la Bachata'. They play bachatas merengue and salsas. The band has released three CDs with their own music.
