The management of the water company CORAAPPLATA, responsible for the water supply at the north coast, including Sosúa, reported being very satisfied with the water supply.
They say 98% of all customers have been satisfied with the water supply.
In 2016 they received 10 million Pesos from the central government to improve the water supply.
Among other things they have previously purchased a tanker truck which should improve the supply of water to the now poorly served areas.
Whether this truck will also come to Playa Chiquita and provide the houses and hotels with water is still unclear.
And if they do, nobody knows if the customers have to pay an additional fee for the water.
But perhaps this is the solution to the water problem of this part of Sosúa.
