Thursday evening, February 23, is the opening of the exhibition of paintings by Salomón Santos in the cultural center (Casa de Arte) of Sosúa.
Salomón has lived for almost thirty years in Sosúa and has a studio in the street to the entrance of the beach.
Here he can be found every day, busy making paintings.
His exhibition includes paintings about the Bay of Sosúa.
He shows the colorful underwater world of corals, fish, crabs and lobsters.
But he also did work on the pollution of the ocean.
He is very concerned about the large volumes of plastic being dumped carelessly in the ocean.
