Last week the Patronales celebrations were held in the Charamicos neighborhood.
Patronales celebrations 2017 in Sosúa
The festivities started like every year on June 5 to honor the patron saint of Sosúa, St. Antonio de Padua.
Monday, June 5 there was a Holy Mass in the Catholic Church.
This church is located in Charamicos, Sosúa and is named after Antonio de Padua.
It was a festive service with many beautiful speeches, singing and music.
Then the parishioners went in procession through the neighborhood preceeded by the priests who carried a wooden statue of St. Antonio de Padua.
In the following days, there were many fun activities for the children with lots of candy and a big bouncy castle.
