Opening Chaka bar well attended
Thursday July 13 the Chaka Bar opened its doors in the main street Pedro Clisante. Previously it was called the Rancho Tipico Bar. Again Ad is the manager of this refurbished bar. Ad and his staff took care of the refurbishment and now everything looks tip top. There was a moment of uncertainty about the opening because the new furniture ordered was not delivered on the promised date. But Thursday morning, the furniture arrived from the capital and the opening didn't have to be postponed.

By eleven o'clock many well-known customers (of the Rancho Tipico Bar) and several other curious people showed up. The music was good with merengue, bachata and salsa's. So original Dominican music music. In the corners of the bar there are some large TV screens showing music videos. Ad also wants to have some Dominican bands perform, but only in high season. Furthermore, we can report that all the prices are very reasonable and there is also free Wi-Fi.
