Sunday July 31 in the streets of the Bronx of New York from 167 to 181 street, the grandiose parade by Dominicans took place.
The police estimated that there was a crowd of at least 100 thousand Dominicans from the Dominican Republic, Canada and the United States present at the festive parade.
At the parade some beautifully decorated floats participated and among them some with a special theme:
the emancipation of women, culture, education, and corruption and crime.
But also floats with dancers, bands and carnival groups.
And one with Luis Abinader of the political party PRM, the kings of the parade in person and the musicians Héctor Acosta (El Torito), Kinito Mendez, Mozart La Para, Giselle Taveras and Johnny Ventura.
There was also a group of Dominicans dressed in green to reflect on the green marches against corruption.
