Number of restaurants in Sosúa increases significantly
Currently the ex Rumba Bar and former Latin Bar in the main street Pedro Clisante are being converted into restaurants. Also Rancho Tipico bar opens next week, but as a pizzeria. Next to the still closed disco Moby Dick appears to start, as they say, a Chinese restaurant.

Across Plan B recently another restaurant opened and next to Don Andres, a new luxuriously furnished restaurant called 'Margot' has opened its doors a few months ago. It seems that the municipality doesn't allow new nightclubs and bars anymore in Sosúa. Only restaurants are still allowed. The question is whether Sosúa has sufficient clientèle for all these lovely restaurants to survive.
