Storm at sea
It was exciting in recent days. A storm at sea pulled along the north coast. The storm did not go by unnoticed on the beach of Sosúa. The sea was very rough on Monday and caused much inconvenience to the beach. The high waves had many shops and bars and restaurants on the beach affected by flooding.

In Cabarete, there seems to have been even more inconvenience, many of the restaurants there at the beachfront flooded. Even the airport of Puerto Plata has been closed for some time because the waves struck the runway. On the beach of Sosúa a lot of sand disappeared into the sea, but then again a new beach arose. Just below the Sosúa Bay hotel there is now a new beach.
