The measure comes after five months of pressure from the House of Representatives and reactions from the Dominican government.
The information was published by Congressmen Adriano Espaillat and María Elvira Salazar on their respective social networks, indicating that the Dominican Republic should never have been accused of racism.
For his part, Tourism Minister David Collado described the measure as 'very positive and appropriate', highlighting the United States as a strategic partner of the DR.
Collado concluded by emphasizing that the Dominican Republic has always been a country that values its visitors, cares for them and serves them with care.
