Alongside Dikke Herman's bar in Sosúa's main street (Pedro Clisante) a new French restaurant has opened its doors, which the owners have named 'Rivièra'.
The French cuisine is fantastic and (slightly less French), the Italian lasagne is particularly popular.
In addition, the well-known and ever-cheerful Leonardo plays the electric piano at the restaurant every weekend.
He plays not just the usual American top hits, but also sings and plays well-known Italian songs, including those inspired by the famous Paulo Conti.
Last Saturday evening Leonardo was extra inspired because, as he whispered to us, he'd had a note from his Eugenie in Holland.
If you enjoy a good meal out then Sosúa has plenty to offer, because this small coastal town has lots of good restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines.

Now you can also enjoy French dishes, as well as listening to the ever-popular Leonardo playing the piano.
The combination means you will undoubtedly have a very special evening out.
