The political alliance of the PRD with the PLD with Ilana Neumann as party leader appears to have won the elections.
The alliance PRD / PLD received 40.92% of the votes.
The Christian Democrats (PRSC) with Wilfredo Olívense received 39.23%.
The newly established party PRM with Melania Guzmán came at 19.34%.
The other four parties together received less than 1%.
Wilfredo Olívense's party (PRSC) and the party of Melania Guzmán (PRM) joined in a political alliance before the elections.
With this alliance they come at 58.57%.
This is a clear absolute majority.
