Wednesday in the early afternoon several hundred supporters of the closing actions of the bars and discos in the Pedro Clisante held a march through the streets of Sosúa with billboards with the text #YoApoyo (#I support).
The march was organized by the Economic and Social Council of the municipality of Sosúa (CESMS), an entity that groups the main sectors of the municipality, including the churches, the district councils, representatives of the educational sectors, sports, hoteliers, real estate agents and the Rotary Club.
The march started from the park with the flags (opposite Banco Popular), and then went through the main street Pedro Clisante where the bars are closed and finally ended at the town hall.
In the Pedro Clisante there were dozens of dismissed catering workers along the road with protest signs.
They pointed out that they had now become destitute.
#YoApoyo
That they were desperate and did not know how to survive in the coming period.
Arriving at the town hall, Mayor Ilana Neumann, among others, addressed the crowd and thanked them for their support for these government measures.
