From July 1, hotels and resorts may receive guests again, but under strict conditions. The bars and restaurants will remain closed for the time being. The restaurants are of course still allowed to make take-away meals available. The restrictions for the hotels are as follows. Disinfect hands and luggage upon entry. Disinfectant gel and wipes should be available at the entrance and in the rooms. The bar and restaurant is only open to regular guests. After 8 pm the bar and restaurant will be closed. The closing at 8 pm also applies to other companies. Furthermore, keep a distance, wear a face mask outside the house, and wash your hands regularly. According to the official government agency 'Salud Publico', there is now a pandemic in the Dominican Republic. So all these protective measures are necessary to prevent further spread of the coronavirus.
