Last weekend, the national police in the Bella Vista district (part of Sosúa) seized 11 sound systems. Several partygoers were also fined. Local residents had complained that music was played loudly well into the evening. But not only that. The curfew was not respected, mouth masks were not worn and there was no question of keeping two meters apart. They danced, sang loudly and drank plenty of alcohol. Local residents complained that their children could not sleep because of this noise. Sound systems have also recently been seized in the Charamicos neighborhood.
