President Luis Abinader was supposed to visit Sosúa on Sunday morning, August 15.
But due to the expected passage of Hurricane Grace, it was decided to postpone the visit.
The president would meet entrepreneurs on the beach of Sosúa and sign a plan that should lead to the further development of the beach.
Also the subsequent visits to the archaeological park of Isabella, a wind energy park, the lifestyle project and pier in the bay of Puerto Plata could not take place.
The president has not yet set a new date for his visit to Sosúa.
