American invests in Pedro Clisante
The owner of the Extreme Limousine Service - yes, that lovely long luxurious white limousine that you can hire - has big plans for Sosúa.
He's currently working together with the town's Mayor, Vladimir Céspedes, and has instructed that part of the Pedro Clisante (opposite the bars El Flow and Latino) be transformed into a pleasant pedestrian boulevard.
This section of the street used to be a mess, because everybody dumped their rubbish there.
Now, thanks to Bob (the owner of Extreme Limousine Service) this area will be transformed into a nicely tiled boulevard.
Bob also owns two piece of ground behind this area.
Bob in Pedro Clisante
Here he hopes to open a supermarket, ice-cream parlour, several bars and a restaurant at some point in the future. The supermarket will sell products at very low prices.
Sosúa-Kids
The boulevard will contain nice seating areas, with big shady parasols, where pedestrians can rest and enjoy the view. They don't have to buy a drink in order to sit there.
Bob in Pedro Clisante
Bob plans to make 5% of the profits available for the children of Sosúa, probably by working together with existing organisations such as SosúaKids.
Bob is currently talking to the Mayor about the implementation of his plans for Sosúa.
The Mayor has indicated that he's very enthusiastic about these plans, and will cooperate fully.
Bob's Extreme Limousine Service is located immediately behind the taxi rank in the town's main street, the Pedro Clisante, directly opposite Fat Herman's bar and cigar store.
