Just now (1 PM local time Tuesday), the approximately 50 employees of Merengue bar and Disco Classico held a protest march through Sosúa.
They protest against the unjustified closure of the two bars and demand that they can return to work again.
According to the spokeswoman of the staff it is not just them but also motoconchos, surrounding restaurants and even the Politur depending on the business to make their daily living.
In front of the Town Hall the spokes women held a speech for the local media present.
