After the overwhelming success of last year, this year from 28 to 30 September, so for the second year, another Multicultural Gastronomic Event will be held in Sosúa.
Last year, more than 20 restaurants (with a stand) took part in the event.
Gastronomic Event in Sosúa
Every restaurants brought their culinary specialties under the attention of the public.
It included Chinese, Indian, Italian, Russian, German, Dominican, Canadian, Mexican, Spanish, Dutch and Irish cuisine which were eagerly tried, not only by the residents but also by the tourists.
Besides that the visitor could enjoy the many dishes there were also a number of performances of musical and folkloric dance groups.
Also this year there are music, dance and theater performances on the program.
The festival takes place in the park of the Flowers (Parque Las Flores) located alongside the Sosúa Bay Center.
The organization of the event is in the hands of TURISOPP, ADSS and the municipality of Sosúa.
