Street party to benefit Sosúakids and AAASosúa
For the fourth year, the foundation 'Sosúakids, now together with the foundation 'AAASosúa Friends of the Animals', held a Christmas Fair and Market. The fair and market were held Saturday afternoon December 14 in the partially closed to traffic street Pedro Clisante. On both sides of the street were stalls selling all kinds of goods. They offered, among others, jewelry, household items, health products, music and video CDs, candy, hamburgers and imported clothing.

For the children there were this time once again many things to do. We saw a shooting game, a ball game, dunk tank, fishing game, bottle throwing, mini golf, and of course the bouncy castle for the children to play. Especially the 'dunk tank' was highly appreciated by the children. Some volunteers took place on a chair where children could throw things at a disc. If the disc was hit, then a balloon with water above the head of the volunteer was punctured.
Net yield
A disc jockey played varied music in this nice atmosphere. In the evening there was a performance by a trio blues musicians. The net yield of all these activities will benefit Sosúakids and AAASosúa Friends of the Animals. SosúaKids buys learning materials, uniforms and bags for poor children in Sosúa and surroundings. The AAASosúa Foundation uses the money to provide (stray) dogs and cats with medical care.
