Pastor Bernardo Vásquez of the parish in Charamicos has announced for Thursday 27 November a protest march to demand once again the promised construction of a public hospital.
The protest march starts in the early morning in Charamicos and ends on the baseball field in the neighborhood La Unión.
La Unión is located near the Gregorio Luperón International Airport.
The priest called on all citizens of Sosúa to participate in the parade with banners and posters.

There has already gone a delegation from Sosúa to the minister in Santo Domingo.
The delegation members were received with all the respect and they were told that the construction of the hospital will start soon.
The result was that they never heard anything about it.
At least for 20 years the residents of Sosúa have requested for a public hospital.
Every time during election time presidential candidates make the same promises that the construction of the hospital will start soon.
Enough is enough and now under the inspiring leadership of Father Bernardo Vásquez, a stream of protests are supposed to follow.
Upcoming Thursday, November 27th the protest march is the start of number of other protests.
